It has been a week and a half since all three of my children started school full time and I’m realizing the wonderful benefits of sitting in silence : ) It’s important to take the time to be with our thoughts everyday and to adapt a meditation practice even if it’s just a few minutes a day. Being a mother has many challenges and I have found it so difficult to carve out those moments for myself but now that my kids are away from me for a certain number of hours a day I find myself craving those “re-charge” minutes when I can be completely still and silent. Moms everywhere take a moment to yourselves! I’ve been there for the last six years and wish I had taken more moments out of the crazy, frustrating, busy days of running after children.
